Cacti 0.8.8 -> No plugin management at all ...

Post by achel »

Hi, I'm sorry to ask this problem (I say it first  ). I've just installed freshly (news ubuntu server + the new spine) the new 0.8.8 and wanted to install the discovery and weathermap plugins, so, I check the admin right as for the ancient versions, and there is no activation checkbox. So, as the 0.8.8 is supposed to integrate the plugins gestion, I uploaded the two plugins inside the plugins directory hopping that it works : nothing ...

Is it normal ? I reinstall 3 times cacti and it was always the same : no plugin management.

Hope it's just a bug

Do you see the "Plugin Management" option on the left menu?

I think I can close the topic, I reinstall the whole server and now I can see the options. All the plugins works but some templates have an xml header error : think I just have to wait updates.

Many thks

See Step 11 in this thread for a fix - http://forums.cacti.net/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=46997

The issue you are having can be resolved by updating your global_arrays.php file.
