Android Client with Weathermap + Thold support

Post by phalek »

nmidClient for Cacti
There's a new Android Cacti client coming up very soon. The client is based on a complete re-write of the nmidWebService Plugin for enhanced security and offers the following initial features:
  • LDAP Server support using the "MobileToken" feature
  • Username/Password is only transmitted once during a mobile session. Authentication the happens using a sha1 hashed session key
  • Specific USers can be allowed/denied usage of the nmidClient via the Cacti server
  • Swipe the screen to change the timespan of the graph !
  • View Weathermap maps on your Android !
  • View Thold breaches !
  • Timespans for graphs can be changed in the full-screen view mode.
  • Create your own Favourites showing your Cacti graphs !
  • Favourites are stored on the Cacti Server and are available after phone switch
  • Tablets are supported
  • Supports nmidDynTree ( customized Cacti Tree )
  • Multiple Cacti servers supported
  • Commercial support
The client is currently in closed Beta phase. For any questions, feel free to PM or Email me at support@urban-software.de

If you want to take part in the Beta, please either leave a reply here with your email address or sent a PM.

Seems like a handy tool, and I love the layout... but since I am an IPhone user, I wonder is there such an application for Apple

Why spend money for an open-source solution?
I've written a cacti client in php for iphone, android and the others smartphones FOR FREE, you can download the client here https://sourceforge.net/projects/cactiphone/ it's free and open-source.
It doesn't have Wheathermap but is FOR FREE!
I accept any type of collaborations, help or whatever. If you want to improve the code you're welcome!!!

I have a client for my ipad that supports 100% of Cacti's features (and all plugins) for free, without needing a jailbreak... it's called Safari :D
Weathermap 0.98a is out! & QuickTree 1.0. Superlinks is over there now (and built-in to Cacti 1.x).
Some Other Cacti tweaks, including strip-graphs, icons and snmp/netflow stuff.
(Let me know if you have UK DevOps or Network Ops opportunities, too!)
