It goes like this:
Open > nmidClient
See > Main Menu
Tap > "Cacti Tree"
See > list of tree items (Default Tree, Internet, High School, Servers HDD Space, Servers NICs, etc (each of these containing multiple graphs on different hosts)
Tap > one of the items (Internet for example which has 3 graphs, one is an interface on a core router and the other two are NICs on a server)
See > the blank blue-spot-on-white-background of nmidClient.
Does this help clarify?

Yes it does. And no there are not any issues and everything is perfectly ok with your setup ..
It's just that the nmidWebService plugin didn't display these graphs in the tree ( your tree is always empty ... )
Please replace the webservice.php file with the attached one and try again.

Re: nmidWebService and nmidClient for Android
Cigars all around!! That nailed it!
So is this something I could have avoided? Or is there something unique to my situation? Just wondering if i did something wrong when I set this up...
And many many thanks for sticking with and putting up with me! So glad to have this working!
In edit:
Also should I be wary of future versions of the nmidWebService since you modified this one for me?

Re: nmidWebService and nmidClient for Android
No worries, the modification just adds new functionality to this plugin, so you can savely go with future versions. Just wanted to get the confirmation so i can publish v2.07.
Well, as you just used standard cacti functionality you didn't do anything wrong.
I just prefer the following graph grouping:
So a bit different
And last, it would not really make sence to offer the nmidClient and not supporting it and the nmidWebService plugin appropriately
