We are preparing a customer portal, and would like to include Cacti graphs for users to see status information. Each user should only see their own graphs, and I understand that we may need to create separate Cacti accounts for each user. We want them to be able to access this along with information from other sources through the integrated user portal though, rather than through Cacti's own (separate) interface. I know we are not the first ones wanting to do this, but I can't seem to find any information.
Ideally I am looking for a Java Portlet Specification (JSR168 or JSR286) portlet, but any advice would be helpful. How have people solved this problem in the past?

Re: Cacti integration into customer portal
We have no portlets ready for cacti.
In our company, we use sth like a single signon, verifying the userid beforehand and passing that very userid to Cacti via http header. A company specific modification then extracts that very userid from the header and voila
