On that note is there a Threshold's template page where one can grab predefined templates by the gurus? http://docs.cacti.net/templates doesn't seem to have any...
Re:  Thresholds alarming prematurely?
Perhaps "Exact Value" is simply LAST value of the datasource, which is not applied any CDEF and RPN Expression.Cactus84 wrote: Before I attempt to play with these settings I was looking in the Thresholds section and notices it has the exact value as a meter.
Can this used for actual disk space or is it referring the exact value of RRD on the graph?
I've never seen that too.Cactus84 wrote:On that note is there a Threshold's template page where one can grab predefined templates by the gurus? http://docs.cacti.net/templates doesn't seem to have any...
Re:  Thresholds alarming prematurely?
Hate to reopen this case, however I am using this formula:
via RPN and it's 4 % out on disk space free for a non-volume group...
|ds:hdd_used|,100,*,|ds:hdd_total|,/
df -h
Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on
/dev/sda3 18G 12G 5.4G 68% /
Shows 68% here and Cacti shows 64 in Thresholds, so close!
There is going to be a deployment of Kaseya soon on our network and if possible I just want to keep Cacti for our Linux hosts only I just have to prove this is functioning correctly...
Can someone explain to me, in step by step, how to correct this as I am a mad noob who wishes to use this great system.
Thanks

Looks to be good now with the UCD graphs! Thanks for listening to my whining!
