Hi,
I have download some MIBs from http://www.somix.com/support/mib_resources.php but I don't know how to use them within Cacti.
Please can someone assist me?
Thanks.
How do I import MIBs??

I have imported the MIBs into GetIF and browsed to the 'bit' I need. I have then modified the Generic OID Template as per the manual but the graphs never get populated.
So, I removed the MIBs from GetIF and then tried to browse to the same location again and I can't - this is correct I assume but I think it is also the reason why I am not getting any info in Cacti as it dosn't know anything about that MIB.
Can anyone help as this is 'doing my head in'
Thanks.
Pete.

Cacti does not specifically utilize the MIB files. The developer need to know what OID's to poll or how to setup data query XML files to reference the MIB correctly. Bottom line, Cacti does not require the MIB files.
