Addon getting a graph & rrd id from cacti or DB

I'm attempting to write an addon (or more of an export data script) that uses the graph export script to export the graphs to another server and then on that other server I need to be able to pull up the graph and some information derived from the RRD file. I can specify the data_template_id, host_id, snmp_index, snmp_query_id, and the graph_template_id and in return I hope I can find a way to get the graph id and rrd id. I have confirmed a way via some MySQL queries to get the graph id, but I am having trouble finding the link from graph id to the rrd it uses. Can anyone offer some insight into how I can do this? either by MySQL queries or by cacti script would be excellent.
