Lose 2 days for comunity name

Post by cuculetea »

I spend 2 days to try to understande why my cacti can`t get processor information from win 2008 r2.
All i was see was
1) SNMP - Get Mounted Partitions (Verbose Query) Uptime Goes Backwards Success [0 Items, 0 Rows] Reload Data Query Delete Data Query Association
2) SNMP - Get Processor Information (Verbose Query) Uptime Goes Backwards Success [0 Items, 0 Rows] Reload Data Query Delete Data Query Association
3) SNMP - Interface Statistics (Verbose Query) Uptime Goes Backwards Success [219 Items, 24 Rows] Reload Data Query Delete Data Query Association
This was because i use a comunity name: "name log"
After i change this to "namelog"
this is what i see now
1) SNMP - Get Mounted Partitions (Verbose Query) Uptime Goes Backwards Success [18 Items, 6 Rows] Reload Data Query Delete Data Query Association
2) SNMP - Get Processor Information (Verbose Query) Uptime Goes Backwards Success [8 Items, 8 Rows] Reload Data Query Delete Data Query Association
3) SNMP - Interface Statistics (Verbose Query) Uptime Goes Backwards Success [219 Items, 24 Rows] Reload Data Query Delete Data Query Association
I search on this forum 2 days something about why i don`t get any information. Please do somethign with this, i don`t want other user to spend time just because they try to use "space" in comunity name.

P.S. sorry for my poor english

If i post this in rong place please move it

Thanks in advance,
Andrei

Did you type out "name log" with the quotes when configuring Cacti?
