sum of inbound and outbound traffic

Post by chr.pinedo »

Hello,

I would like to know if I can sum the inbound and outbound traffic of a interface that is beeing monitored with cacti. The interface is half duplex so I am very interested in aggregating the inbound and outbound traffic.

Thanks,

Christian

Create a CDEF=a,b,+ and graph a new graph item related to that CDEF

Christian,
Do you find how to do that?
I'm looking for something similar, subtract (Out - In)

The creation of CDEFs is done via the CDEF page under Graph Management.
The order must be
[Data Source 1]
[Data Source 2]
+ or -
After that is done, you can go into your graph template, go into the correct graph item(s) and apply your created CDEF in the CDEF field.
