[Solved] Maximum SNMP OID's Per SNMP Get Request

Post by benoitp38 »

Hi,

i'm using Cacti 0.8.7i PIA with spine 0.8.7i.

i move from an earlier version, without spine.

On a special device suporting only SNMP v1, we can only get 4 OIDs per request.

I tried to setup the following parameter to "4", but nothing change, spine always try to get 10 OIDs per request.

Settings > Poller > Spine Specific Execution Parameters > The Maximum SNMP OID's Per SNMP Get Request

Did i miss understood something or is it a bug ?

Regards.

Probably that is a default value when new device is added.
Try modifying the same parameter at 'Devices > your device > SNMP Options'.

Thank you, you were right.

So my conclusion is that this parameter is unused when using cmd.php as poller.
