Hi.
on a fresh install of ubuntu server we have installed cacti 0.8.7.i on Ubuntu server (10.10 LTS)
The install is simple as they come but for some reason Graphs are not updating.
The localhost ones had above 5 minuts of activity then stopped. A test Cisco Router I added has nothing, no graph background.
We has set it up using spine and all the paths in the setup show as correct.
Looking at a debug trace it is doing what it should be, see log below

however if i go to /var/lib/cacti/rra there are some files in there relating to local host but they have not been updated since 4pm ish today

What am I missing? Cacti seems to be telling me its working?
Thanks for your help.

1) Did you add poller.php to crontab?
2) BTW, I'll tell you in advance -- if you have installed Cacti 0.8.7i via apt-get, perhaps PIA is not included. I recommend to re-install Cacti from source if you want to use plugin later.

Re: Cacti Version 0.8.7i on Ubuntu Server LTS
I have this set to run every minute in my Cron list
php /usr/share/cacti/site/poller.php >/dev/null 2>/var/log/cacti/poller-error.log
php /usr/share/cacti/site/poller.php >/dev/null 2>/var/log/cacti/poller-error.log

Which user runs poller.php? (= Does that user have write permission to rra/ and log/ directory?)
