Where to get just PIA 3.1?

Post by larrytek »

Where can we download only the PIA version 3.1? I have a jumpbox with cacti 0.8.7i, but no PIA. Thanks.

I was also searching for this today, with no luck. In the end I just overridden existing cacti install with a Cacti tarball that has PIA integrated.

You could also checkout the 3.1 version from SVN:

Code: Select all

svn checkout svn://svn.cacti.net/cacti/PIA/tags/v3.1/
and copy the files over your installation.

I'm also looking for this, i installed cacti via yum and it installs the version without PIA.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Just rolled it back to Version 0.8.7g, not going to worry about 8.7i until the yum install comes with PIA. Why you'd want to install without PIA is beyond me, should come default in all versions from 0.8.7i onwards.

This is beyond our means. Please talk to the distro maintainer.

Hey Gandalf, wasnt pointing the finger at you guys, just saying, PIA is so useful and it should be default.

I might just take your advice actually.
