Monitoring backplane usage on a Cisco 7507 or 3640

Post by Riceman »

Does anyone have the oid's or any other goodies that might aid me in graphing the backplane usage on either a Cisco 7507 and or a 3640.

Thanks in advance,

snmpwalk your devices on the Cisco tree. You can also get the MIBs associated with your device and see what is in them.

For example...

snmpwalk -v 1 -c communityname hostname .1 -M ALL > mywalk.txt

or if you want the numerical OIDs, add a -On after -M ALL

If don't have access to a unix host or can't SNMP walk, well... you have more fundamental challenges.
