SQL Assoc Failed Error 1054

Post by Nunnsby »

Hi All

Got a fully functional Cacti box, using all sorts of plugins, but getting this error on MacTrack:

02/02/2012 03:57:53 PM - CMDPHP: Poller[0] ERROR: SQL Assoc Failed!, Error:'1054', SQL:"SELECT DISTINCT snmp_sysObjectID, snmp_sysDesc, device_type FROM mac_track_devices WHERE snmp_sysObjectID!='' AND snmp_sysDesc!=''"

The Site is created. The Device is created. It is linked to a current device in Cacti, which has traffic graphing enabled and working.

It is showing up as status unknown under devices in MacTrack.

I have copied the plugin, 2.9-1 to the plugins folder. Given the files the run rights it requires. That is all. As per the install doc, just copy it to the plugins folder and enable. I have not done anything else like import it into the SQL DB, as this is not stated anywhere, apart from a million and one google articles for older versions. As far as I can tell thsi should ne be required for this version.

If there is something I am missing, please advise. I am not sure about the relationship of the SNMP Options and Device Types, so those are empty and I am sure that is where the issue is, but I am not too sure what is required of me there. If that is where the issue is, then if someone could explain that, it would much appreciated. :)

The device is a Catalyst 6513, and is configured as a Switch/Router under Scan Type.

Thanks
