Hi to all;
Is it possible to use threshold in Aggregated Graphs? I need to monitor total traffic of interfaces in each board/slot of my device. I need alerts in Total INBOUND and Total OUTBOUND of aggregated traffic.
Tnx

Not too sure. My guess is not. Please test and get back to us.
Another option would be to create a Cacti Graph template that uses DSStat's to aggregate the values. I would think tholding that way would work fine.
I had some visions of what I would like to do with Aggregate from this perspective, but I am afraid that at the moment, I am too busy.

For those wondering, I'm still here, but lost in the shadows. Yearning for less bugs. Who want's a Cacti 1.3/2.0? Streams anyone?

I've tried but it doesn't work.
First thing, I cannot create new thold template since there is no data template for Aggregated Graph.
Second, Selecting aggregated graph and "Create Threshold from template" will not be registered in thold_data table as it doesn't have graph_template and data_template values.
Third, Creating CDEF for percent traffic calculation using SIMILAR_DATA_SOURCES_NODUPS are not supported by Threshold Template.
I'm using Thold 0.4.2 , Aggregate 0.74
tnx,
Mike

Yea, IMHO, the DSStat's plugin is the way to make aggregates. I've been talking with Reinhard about some enhancements to Aggregate, but to date, have not had time to fully articulate them. This is one of those enhancements.

Re: Threshold in Aggregate Graphs
Sorry for retrieving this topic but i've seen that there's a 0.75 version of aggregate, was this issue already supported by version 0.75?
thnx,
Mike

Re: Threshold in Aggregate Graphs
I'd need thold for totaled aggregate graphs, too. Is it planned to be integrated?
Would it be possibile make aggregated graphs without the aggregate plugin so that
thold could use that? DSStats was mentioned, but I have no clue about how to create
aggregates with dsstats to use with thold.
Thanks!
