Fatal error: Call to undefined function: mysql_connect() !!!

Post by zexbig »

I have debian distro with rrdtool 1.0.49, Apache/1.3.33, NET-SNMP 5.1.2, PHP 4.3.10-2 all install from deb packages.
cacti was installed from source and poller wont start, perms on log and rra dir are OK. Other application wich use php and mysql are working normaly.
mysql.so is uncomented in /etc/php4/apache/php.ini.
Anyone have any idea about this?

cactiuser@cc:~$ php poller.php

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: mysql_connect() in /home/cacti/public_html/cacti/lib/adodb/drivers/adodb-mysql.inc.php on line 339

Solutions is to run
dpkg-reconfigure php4-mysql
and enable mysql for CLI applications...

Debian say's that in /var/log/cacti/poll.log
:)

:D

Gotta love when it tells you how to fix it. I like Debian for that reason.
