Syslog

Post by brononius »

Hey,

I'm working with cacti version Version 0.8.7i (pia) and the syslog plugin 1.22
Everything is working fine, except the background and font color. For all messages, this is gray.
I've put different colors in the settings-syslog part, but no luck...
The legend on the bottom is changing nicely?

Any idea where i can have a peek?

I have the same problem on Cacti 0.8.7g installed in Ubuntu. In my syslog Statistics I can see that I received syslog messages with Priority from 1 to 7 but all messages in my Syslogs have gray background. :(

I applied advice from another topic and changed
%syslogfacility%, %syslogpriority%,
to
'%syslogfacility-text%', '%syslogpriority-text%',
in /etc/rsyslog.conf
and colors started working.
