RRDTool installation (RRDs object version 1.2015 does not..)

I've been trying to install RRDTool for Windows with no success.

I've installed:
'RRDs' version 1.2015
ActivePerl 5.8.8.817.

But i get a strage error:
RRDs object version 1.2015 does not match bootstrap parameter 1.201 at C:/Perl/lib/DynaLoader.pm line 253..


What am I missing? Is there a new build of RRDTool's for Windows running with later versions of ActivePerl? The only ActivePerl version i got running with RRDTools is 5.8 other versions say that RRDTool's isn't supported.

The problem is that RRDTool's donsen't come with a win32 build, you have to build it your self. Is there anyone who have a build of the latest or some of the 1.4.x that wan't to share it with me? And is running with later versions of ActivePerl then 5.8.

I've solved the problem by re-installing ActivePearl 5.8 and rrdtools 1.2.15 but I can't get it to work, now there is an error:
Error: RRDs::graph failed, Cannot parse DS in 'DEF:in=z:/RRDTest2/192.168.0.1_1.rrd:ds0:AVERAGE'

I would highly suggest you dump that version and go with the 1.2.30 win32 build instead, which resides on one of the Windows rrdtool download mirror sites.

I didn't get 1.2.300 working, even tough i tried ActivePerl 5.8 and 5.10. When using both these versions of ActivePerl I didn't even manage to install RRDTool.

When typing "ppm install RRDs.ppd" it just said that the version did not support my current environment.

If you read my previous post I've tried that but can't install RRDs.ppm from that i mirror, I've tried it with ActivePerl 5.8 and 5.10 but Perl complains about that my environment isn't supported and by that means I'm not using the right ActivePerl version...witch is strange because I've tried 5.8 and 5.10 and 5.10 is specified to work with RRDTool 1.2.30

I've tried activeperl-5.10.0.1004-mswin32-x86-287188.msi can't seem to find any other versions of ActivePerl for Win32
