poller.php problem - upgrading to 0.8.6c
I've been pulling my hair out for half the day trying to work out what
has broken. I upgraded from 0.8.6b to 0.8.6c as per the instructions
on cacti.net.
I can run php cmd.php fine, it checks every hosts etc. Whenever I try
and run php poller.php I get:
# php poller.php
12/26/2004 07:18:58 PM - POLLER: Poller[0] DEBUG: About to Spawn a
Remote Process [CMD: /usr/bin/php, ARGS: -q
/usr/local/apache/htdocs/cacti/cmd.php 0 60]
Waiting on 1/1 pollers.
Waiting on 1/1 pollers.
Waiting on 1/1 pollers.
Waiting on 1/1 pollers.
I tried using cactid but had the same error.
I'm using:
Slackware 10.0
net-snmp 5.2
cacti 0.8.6c
I restored the old database and cacti directory and everything is working fine again (using 0.8.6b). So I'm assuming it's a problem with the new database?
Any suggestions? Thanks.

Database structure does not change from 0.8.6b to 0.8.6c. Probably related to a new configuration variable that you need to set in settings.

Please set you logging level in Settings -> Poller Logging Level to Debug and email me or post the resulting log located in your cacti installation directory /logs/cacti.log.
