lost the connection to catci home page and sql

1. First I downloaded the Plugin Architecture “cacti-plugin-0.8.7g-PA-v2.8.tar” file.
2. I extracted file archives from this tar file and placed in the cacti folder .
3. Applied the patch command to insert patch files “patch -p1 -N < cacti-plugin-0.8.7g-PA-v2.8.diff”

After applying the patch file , I lost the connection to the cacti server GUI. http://localhost/catci/ shows blank page .

You should have done step #2 OR #3 but not both.

Do step #2 again and it should work. You might also check the permissions on the files you copied.
