trouble viewing graphs

Post by Guest »

When I goto the Graph view page, no graphs are shown.. just the internet explorer image indicating that the image could not be loaded (little page with an X)...

I added an SNMP Interface, and specified the IP/community name (I'm trying to graph the traffic volume)...

If you would like to have a look, please goto:

http://duck.weslink.ca/cacti/

Username is "admin".. password is "trustno1"

Any help would be appreciated..

Thanks in advance

I felt kind of weird logging into someone else's cacti site, but I did it anyway.

If you "edit graph items" there are options to view the graph preview, and the output preview. This is a great troubleshooting tool. So I did that and it says:
ERROR: opening '/var/www/duck/cacti/rra/traf_209_183_9_15_2_in.rrd': No such file or directory
Check to see if that rrd exists. If not, find out where that file is, and adjust your path appropriately.

I searched the entire system for that file, didnt find it anywhere.... I suspect tey arent being created.... Is there any log file I can look at that may contain cacti errors ?

Yes there are logs. They should be in /var/www/duck/cacti/log

Also check to ensure that /var/www/duck/cacti/rra exists, and that your cacti user has permission to write to that directory.

Thanks again for the assistance :)
