Permissions and Users

Post by RRWH »

Is there a way to configure so that a User can manage graphs for only a specific host/s?

What I would like to do is to create hosts and then associate a Management user with that host. That management User would only be able to add/delete graphs for that host and not see any graphs associated with other hosts where they did not have permission.

St the moment, managing graphs appears to be an all or nothing approach (by giving a user update graphs realm access), where viewing is granular right down to a single graph if desired.

Ideally, I would want to have the flexibility to extend this to allow a user to manage all graphs (create/delete) for all objects in a tree. I guess this would need to further the permissions around templates etc as well.

I guess what I am looking at is to have similar control as per the view graphs.

Any hints?
