Use SNMP on the host, and then either use the ucd-snmp Disk Data Query or the SNMP Mounted Partition Data Query. The 'ucd-snmp' requires that you add 'disk <path> <threshold>' entries in that hosts snmpd.conf file, where the SNMP Mounted Partitions does not.

I need bit more guidance while creating graphs: rather this partition is nfs one

server1:/vol/pub_prd_pub
1.4T 999G 362G 74% /pub/pub-app

I want to create graphs of only this partition using SNMP Mounted Partition Data Query, what is worse is it shows local partitions only not nfs mounted

any help

You might want to add:

Code: Select all

disk /pub/pub-app 10000
To that devices snmpd.conf file, restart snmpd, and then use the 'ucd/net-snmp' data query. The Host MIB 'might' work, but it's platform dependent.
