FYI - to get Plugin Management working on cacti-0.8.7i-PIA-3.1.zip, I had to import the pa.sql file from cacti-plugin-0.8.7h-PA-v3.0.tar.gz -

Really, I was sure I included the pa.sql in the cacti.sql file.
There is no auto upgrade to bring it in.
I guess that would be an oversight on my part.
Were you upgrading from a previous Cacti release?

Re: Importing pa.sql on cacti-0.8.7i-PIA-3.1.zip
Hi Rony - on this thread, it was an upgrade from cacti-0.8.7g (re, backup database, rename cacti, copy the PIA unziped to same root, restore rrds, scripts, etc...)
It's no biggie - the crux for my efforts was mixing versions - was hoping there'd be a cacti-plugin-0.8.7i-blah to tap -
Sorry, but my environment is not clean for proper testing - so feel free to ignore this unless there's drama attempting a swing to cacti-0.8.7i-PIA-3.1.zip

No, I feel your issue is valid.
I might consider amending the release to include both files and make a note in the README about upgrading from non-PIA installs.

Re: Importing pa.sql on cacti-0.8.7i-PIA-3.1.zip
Hi,
Just thought I'd post that I upgraded to 0.8.7i from h, and only noticed afterwards that there's an 'all-in-one' version with PIA, so I thought I'd try that (I've used PIA heaps before, just not on this particular instance). Came across the SQL errors and couldn't find any pa.sql, so just used the one from 3.0 which seems to have worked fine.
I think something in the install scripts that checks for the existence of the PIA tables and if non-existent, create them (or upgrade if they're there...).
Cheers
