1) How did you install cacti and spine?
2) did you already have cygwin installed or used the included dlls?
3) spine.conf should be in the same directory as spine.exe.

Re: About spine0.8.7i is not working on cygwin.
Thank you for reply.
①In the operating environment cacti0.8.7h, and installed a spine0.8.7i cacti0.8.7i change the directory name.
②Cygwin is already installed was because I used to 0.8.7h.
'C:\cygwin\bin' the Path environment variable to specify, included dlls is not used,
After deleting some files related to the spine in the cygwin directory and moved the spine.
However, the chart does not appear, not even in the rra directory contains no data.

Additional hear one more point.
How to delete a file on the spine with cygwin cygwin already installed, and how to install a new cygwin, or which is better?

Re: About spine0.8.7i is not working on cygwin.
1) so you upgraded cacti from 0.8.7h to 0.8.7i? Where there any errors?
2) cacti itself doesnt require cygwin, so not sure why you're referencing 0.8.7h.
3) graphs are rendered by rrdtool, not cygwin (unless you're using an ancient cygwin build of rrdtool).
4) followed the steps in http://forums.cacti.net/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=11747 yet?

Re: About spine0.8.7i is not working on cygwin.
Thank you very much for the reply.
>1) so you upgraded cacti from 0.8.7h to 0.8.7i? Where there any errors?
I have installed cacti 0.8.7i in totally different directory (with different database name)
We tried to leave the 0.8.7 h for a backup.
At first, new spine was not executeing properly due to the cygwin related files in the spine package,
but after deleting and make spine link to the already installed cygwin environment it operated
correctly.
>2) cacti itself doesnt require cygwin, so not sure why you're referencing 0.8.7h.
I tried to mention about the spine not cacti. Sorry for the confusion.
>3) graphs are rendered by rrdtool, not cygwin (unless you're using an ancient cygwin build of rrdtool).
Although, the spine is executed without any errors , rrd files were not created.
I will reinstall everything from OS again and see cacti and spine operates correctly
with only cacti 0.8.7 i installed. Maybe the environment was messed up with multiple versions of
cacti installed.
>4) followed the steps in ** README BEFORE POSTING ** yet?
I hadnt. I have reviewed the document and found the part that says to delete the cygwin related
files included in the spine package. Thank you for the advice.
