Graphing ADSL SNR/Speed/Attenuation

Post by scott2500uk »

My router (Billion BiPAC 7402NX) supports reading Line SNR, speed and attenuation via SNMP at the following OIDs:

Code: Select all

Upstream Line Attenuation (Gauge32)
.1.3.6.1.2.1.10.94.1.1.2.1.5.3
Downstream Line Attenuation (Gauge32)
.1.3.6.1.2.1.10.94.1.1.3.1.5.3

Upstream Speed (Gauge32)
.1.3.6.1.2.1.10.94.1.1.2.1.8.3
Downstream Speed (Gauge32)
.1.3.6.1.2.1.10.94.1.1.3.1.8.3

Upstream SNR Margin (Integer)
.1.3.6.1.2.1.10.94.1.1.2.1.4.3
Downstream SNR Margin (Integer)
.1.3.6.1.2.1.10.94.1.1.3.1.4.3
Simply put how do I graph these metrics with Cacti? I've tried searching and reading some of the tutorials and I've been unable to piece together a working solution. Anyone provide some help on this one?

Cheers.

That data looks very much like a part of an SNMP table. In that case, an SNMP Data Query would be the correct approach. There's a complete walkthrough for that at the mentioned link.
