Hi Cacti users
I just got syslog plugin fully up and running after having major issues figuring out how to get syslog-ng to do DNS resolving.
The problem is, that right now I have all my devices listed with IP and hostname. I want to delete or rename all the IP's to list device names only.
Can I do this by telling the database to update all fields with IP x.x.x.x to "hostname" or do I need to do it another way?
Thanks in advance,
Jakob

It's a bit of a manual process. However, there are only tables where you have to do this. I guess we should write something to migrate/rename a host to ease the process.
