Autom8 and Advanced Ping

Hello,

I can not figure out how to work together "Advanced Ping" and "Autom8".
I have 600 devices, and I would simply create the same ICMP ping with "Advanced Ping" for all equipment with Autom8.

How I can do that ?

Well, very briefly, you will have to do nothing apart from installing and activating the plugin.

In other words: AUTOM8 always creates ALL graphs related to basic graph templates associated with a host. And the ping template is a "basic graph template", in other words, it's not a Data Query.

But AUTOM8 is currently not able to provide custom data during graph creation. There are templates out there, that will prompt you for data input each time a new graph is created. AUTOM8 is not able to provide that input (would be a new feature ...).

To make AUTOM8 work, you will have to change the advanced ping template to suppress polling data from the user (see: Use Per-Data Source Value (Ignore this Value))
