plugin architecture patch borked my cacti

Post by spoovy »

I downloaded the tarball and followed the instructions in the README. I'm installing on Scientific Linux.
I got no errors while patching; so continued to import the pa.sql file and restarted mysql and apache. No cacti.

Reading that there may be problems with global.php in rpm distros, I followed instructions and replaced the file with the global.php bundled in the tarball. Restarted mysql and apache again - Still no cacti.

A couple of code pastes - note that cacti still doesn't work even after the second apparently successful run. I can't access cacti from a web browser at all - no console, nothing.

thanks in advance

For those wondering, I'm still here, but lost in the shadows. Yearning for less bugs. Who want's a Cacti 1.3/2.0? Streams anyone?
