Flowviewplugin Issues--Cacti 0.8.7h and API 3.0 on Debian 6

Post by yaka2b »

Cacti 0.8.7h and API 3.0 on Debian 6 -- Flowview plugin with
flow-tools 1:0.68-12+b1
flowscan 1.006-13
flowscan-cuflow 1.7-5
flowscan-cugrapher 1.7-5
libcflow-perl 1:0.68-12+b1

Have above installed/configured and get netflow graphs great from a Cisco device. Also get source /destination for ingress/egress configured on the Cisco. All appears to be working fine, except the Flowview plugin.

If you click on "View" , a new tab appears with the Flowview data, and there is no way to close this new tab. Trying to close it , opens up another tab and so on with the following error in apache error.log:

PHP Notice: Undefined index: session in /var/www/cacti/plugins/flowview/flowview.php on line 68,

Any ideas?

Did you click the 'X'?

For those wondering, I'm still here, but lost in the shadows. Yearning for less bugs. Who want's a Cacti 1.3/2.0? Streams anyone?

yes, clicking the "x", removes the Flow data from the screen, but not the "New Flow" tab.

I also discovered something else accidentally today: I clicked on the "X" after about 10 mins, all "New Flow" tabs disappeared.

Let me investigate and find out the exact time interval.. looks like some sort of time caching ?? Where??

Cheers

By design it caches and times out, but the 'x' should always work.
