Problem Cacti ping advance

Post by scalac »

Hi,

My name is Thomas (scalac)
First of all sorry for my poor English.
I installed the monitoring CactiEZ DSL with TP SA under Linux.
I have them about 300 DSL ping - there is no other way to test the DSL.
After setting up about 300 items to ping my DSL charts are shredded, server memory is rapidly declining. After adding the RAM object sometimes drops by 200 M. Server has 1.5 GB of RAM

Please help as I can re server to function properly, drew charts correctly.

Increase your threads. Make sure the binary is setuid and owned by root if you are using ICMP ping. Make sure you have sufficient connections if using more threads.

For those wondering, I'm still here, but lost in the shadows. Yearning for less bugs. Who want's a Cacti 1.3/2.0? Streams anyone?

You also have a script server timeout issue, which means you have a slow running script, or the timeout is too low.
