Cannot run cmd.php or poller.php.

Post by michlch »

Hi, I have been trying to install cacti for weeks now, and I found this error "This script is only meant to run at the command line"

I have run it in the command line and it seems to work. Also, my php.ini had been set as instructed:
register_argc_argv = On
safe_mode = Off

I am running it with the following configuration:
Windows 7
IIS 7.0
php 5.2.17
cacti-0.8.7h.

Can anybody help me? Let me know if you need any more information.

Well thats the problem. As the error message states, the script is only meant to run at the command line... in a scheduled task. Please follow the installation guide.
