y-axis unit problem

Post by herbert75 »

Hi,

cacti version: 0.8.7e-2ubuntu0.1

When I generate a graph with only one "Graph Item Inputs", the y axis unit will chose automatically. Is there a possibility to configure the unit manually or erase the unit?

thx in advance,

herbert

sorry, now I found the problem.
I didn't understand COUNTER...
a counter are changes /sec... I only have to add the CDEF Function -> make per 5 min and everything is fine...

oetiker has a real good example...

Values = 300, 600, 900, 1200
Step = 300 seconds
COUNTER DS = 1, 1, 1, 1
DERIVE DS = 1, 1, 1, 1
ABSOLUTE DS = 1, 2, 3, 4
GAUGE DS = 300, 600, 900, 1200
but thx..

I'm glad you figured this one out on your own. I was not quite clear on what you were asking for, or possibly you were not too clear.
