holes & help with conf

sometimes i have the holes in the graphs, with messages in the log like this
SPINE: Poller[0] Host[2] DS[232] WARNING: SNMP timeout detected [500 ms], ignoring host
my conf poller for stats

Poller Type spine
Poller Interval 1min
Cron Interval 1min
Maximum Concurrent Poller Processes: 5

Number of PHP Script Servers 1
Script and Script Server Timeout Value 45
The Maximum SNMP OID's Per SNMP Get Request 20
what i can do better with my conf?

Increase the snmp timeout's for the affected hosts.
