Cacti NOOB, Unix / Linux vet.

performed yum installs on a clean VM of FC14

yum -y install httpd php php-mysql php-snmp php-xml mysql mysql-server net-snmp

verified all settings per recs in http://docs.cacti.net/manual:088:1_inst ... igure_snmp

shutoff off iptables and selinux just for extra measure.

test localhost, then localhost/cacti

Localhost brings up correctly, tested a php script, in base directory and it worked as well.

would recommend stating in documentation about starting services

service httpd start
service mysqld start

And MY screw up SNMP!!
