Graphs problems with Intermittent gaps

Post by LeHigh75 »

Hello everyone, i want to expose you my problem, it seems i m unable to solve it alone, so i come for your help !

I m getting issues with cacti, i m looking for why this happens since few days, and i still didn t find why.

I m monitoring few things with cacti like, for example bandwidth on windows Clients, some hosts are graphed properly, but on few ones, there are fails, it looks like cacti doesn t receive datas, so the graphs are incomplete.

I show you a screenshot :

I've seen this issue as well. I decided to upgrade my Cacti to 0.87g. So far I have seen no new gaps in my graphs, but I have only been on g for about 22 hours.

I had this before and I just change the cron.
my cron config (UBUNTU)
NOW
*/5 * * * * cacti php /var/www/cacti/poller.php > /dev/null 2>&1
Before was
*/5 * * * * root /usr/bin/php /var/www/cacti/cactipoller.php >/dev/null 2>&1
