user and ip base access method for cacti

Dear Sir/Madam,

I want to enable ip and user base access restriction in cacti. For instance, I want to grant user admin from 10.10.10.10,172.16.0.25 ip address only while accessing the cacti graphs.

Could you please help me in this regards.

There is no a method in the base Cacti for this. But, there might be a plugin that facilitates it, which I do not know of one.

It's hard to know how well this would work without more specifics for your environment, but could you use Apache to restrict the access rather than Cacti itself?

I have been struggling with this issue. If some user want to login in through username and password i want to ip base restriction too. Meaning by if admin user login in cacti he should be able to login in from 192.168.0.1 and 172.168.0.1 ip address only.

Could you guys help me.

This will definitively require a code change. This feature is not available right now and there are no plans to do so
