Hi,
I've recently used cli/add_graphs.php in order to automatically generate different graphs. I've notice a strange behavior when the add_graphs.php returns the same graph for different "--snmp-query-type-id" values and the same "--graph-template-id=".
Command 1)
php ../add_graphs.php --host-id=6 --graph-type=ds --snmp-query-id=23 --snmp-query-type-id=88 --graph-template-id=59 --snmp-field=sgsn --snmp-value=Global
Graph Added - graph-id: (54267) - data-source-ids: (54275, 54275)
Command 2)
php ../add_graphs.php --host-id=6 --graph-type=ds --snmp-query-id=23 --snmp-query-type-id=87 --graph-template-id=59 --snmp-field=sgsn --snmp-value=Global
NOTE: Not Adding Graph - this graph already exists - graph-id: (54267) - data-source-id: (54275)
I've also tested the web interface (Create ->New Graphs link) and everything works correctly.
I suspect a software issue. Please let me know if there is a solution.

Cristian

Re: cli/add_graphs.php
I've forgotten to mention that I'm using cacti-0.8.7g
Re: cli/add_graphs.php
I've found a solution by duplicating the graph template and the graph is generated correctly.
