No Graph with OIDs / different PING graph

Post by StefanR »

Hello,

we got some problems at drawing the graphs for Knuerr CoolLoops.
Cacti (Linux Suse SLES 11) is running and drwaing graphs for Cisco devices (Traffic Ethernet with Bandwith) and ping latency for Cisco and other Devices (incl. the CoolLoops).

For the Knuerr CoolLoop i get the OID´s from the manufacturer but Cacti don`t draw a graph.

The snmpwalk (from the Cacti-Server) returns a value
snmpwalk -v 2c -c OURCOMMUNITY XX.xxx.XX.xxx 1.3.6.1.4.1.2769.2.1.1.1.3
SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.2769.2.1.1.1.3.0 = INTEGER: 289

The snmpget (from the Cacti-Server) doesn`t return a Value
snmpget -v 2c -c OURCOMMUNITY XX.xxx.XX.xxx 1.3.6.1.4.1.2769.2.1.1.1.3
Error in packet
Reason: (noSuchName) There is no such variable name in this MIB.
Failed object: SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.2769.2.1.1.1.3

The manufacturer saith that is the correct OID for our Values we want monitoring.

The other problem is the ping graph of KVM Switches are different.
See the pictures.
Overview KVM 1

Detail View KVM 1

Detail View KVM 4

cacti_kvm04_detail.jpg (162.45 KiB) Viewed 815 times
See the different scale on left side of the graph. We have 2 graphs like KVM 4 and 6 graphs like KVM 1
What can we do to change all scale like the in the first picture (0.3 milliseconds) include the detail view?

Is it possible for the guest user so see the graph without a logon on the cacti webpage?
And also share a direkt link to a host without a logon.
We share our links in case of troubles to our managemet and they are not so joyful to logon on the website and search the involved host.

Who has a suggestion?
Thanks und best regards.

Please attach the ".0" to the OID

Thanks for your response. It doesnt work.
We try to monitoring with MRTG (http://oss.oetiker.ch/mrtg/) and also get no graph from the CoolLoops :-(
Only with the Tool SNMPView (http://snmpview.de/) we get Values (incl. Website) so we dont have to logon on the Java Applet at the CoolLops to view the current Status.

What exactly did you do? Did you rebuild the poller cache after having changed the data template? What does DEBUG show in cacti.log for polling of that OID?
