how to monitor router if aliving by advanced ping?

hi all :

because the plugin of monitor have send all reports to everyone.

I want to do that : different device send to different manager.

I try to do that by advanced ping . with the loss percent , but if the cacti can't connection the device ,
and the advanced ping can't get anything.

pls help me to do that.
