I don't know if this is the right place for this, but there is (at least for my case) a step missing for a successful installation. In order to get cacti show anything other than a blank page, I had to not only create the mysql database, but import the cacti.sql into the database--a step that seems to be missing from the install doc. Before doing that step, all I would get is the blank page and a segmentation fault error in the logs. I am running 64 bit RedHat 5, but it would seem to be a good step for everyone.

Thanks

Thanks for the post. Which installation instructions were you looking at?

There are details on what to do in regards to MYSQL and importing the database here -
