Windows 2003/2008 & Mount Point Drives

Post by kayex »

Is it possible to monitor Windows 2003/2008 Mount Point Drives in Cacti? Does anyone have a "how-to"? I'm only able to see regular drives in Cacti.

If they're not exposed by the windows snmp agent, then you'll have to use WMI -- which is expensive.

this link shows how to create a script that retrieve the mount point data 9http://thwack.com/forums/48/network-management/9/orion-network-performance-monitor/30275/windows-mount-points-via-snmp/)

But i don't know how to graph it.
I tried to use SNMP - Generic OID datasource and graph template, but it doesn't work. I created a custom datasource template with SNMP Get for each OID, but in both graph it shows the value -1.#J.

Somebody know how I can do that?

Are you on Windows or Linux?

I've got a script and query that does it, but it only works on Linux for the time being since it uses wmic. It could probably be ported to Windows though.
