Weathermap download site down (request for mirror)

Post by bblan »

Seeing how the published download link for Network Weather Map is currently offline and has been for at least a week (for me) does any one know of an alternative download location?

Thanks in advance

Is it still? What IP does http://www.network-weathermap.com resolve to for you? :-?

There was a problem with my server last weekend that meant I needed to move the site. The DNS was all changed back then though...
Weathermap 0.98a is out! & QuickTree 1.0. Superlinks is over there now (and built-in to Cacti 1.x).
Some Other Cacti tweaks, including strip-graphs, icons and snmp/netflow stuff.
(Let me know if you have UK DevOps or Network Ops opportunities, too!)

Hi,

As of 31st August 2011, I too cannot access the www.network-weathermap.com wesbite, from UK (at work and at home)

The IP resolves OK to 212.21.100.87 but even browsing to http://212.21.100.87/ does not seem to work.

Is there still a problem with the website? Is there a mirror site available?

Just needed to access the documentation to check something.

Regards,

Mon

The documentation is still in every download, so you probably already have it.

But.. it looks like the server fell over early this morning. I'm just popping down to the datacentre to poke it.

Howie,

Thanks - I'd had forgotten about the local docs!

Cheers,

And the server is back up. Looks like swap exhaustion, which is a bit worrying. Maybe time to buy a new box.
