Hi
The "SNMP - Get Mounted Partitions" data query contains both hard drive and virtual memory information for half of my Windows servers. The other half are all missing virtual memory.
How do I proceed in resolving this problem?
Thanks

1) try increasing the snmp timeout to 5 seconds... yes, windows is laggy when returning this data.
2) not all versions of windows report this metric.. I think its only 2003 and newer.

Re: Data Query [SNMP - Get Mounted Partitions] missing some
Hi
I increased the timeout from 500ms to 5000ms. This did not fix the problem. All the machines being monitored are either Windows 2008 R2 Server Standard, Windows 2008 Server 64bit Standard or Windows 2003 Server 32bit Standard.
How should I proceed?
Thanks

time to manually verify the data is present. Does the Verbose Query for [SNMP - Get Mounted Partitions] return any fields? Alternatively, you could use net-snmp snmpwalk or GetIf to validate.

Hi
I tried GetIf to determine the memory and drive space usage on a machine that is working fine with Cacti but I couldn't figure out how to get the values.
Could you please let me know how I can use that tool to determine memory usage?
Thanks

Since these are guages, you can do two things:
1) Monitor the Data Template and make the Max Values 'U'.
2) Use rrdtool tune $filename to remove the max values from the RRDfiles themselves.
