Know any other possible way to monitor Virtual Hosts from *nix ( whether by adding additional mibs or anything ) as my boss would like to stay away from installing win-cron and the likes :/

Thank you,

Any updates on this?

Has anyone setup Cacti Templates/Scripts to be able to monitor IIS virtual host stats via a Cacti linux installation?

Was it really necessary to dredge up a 7 year old post?

1) there is already a few methods for linux boxes to query windows boxes with WMI queries. look in the addon/script forums.
2) if its not been done already, then you'll need to write or find a script to query the data you're interested in from IIS.

sorry for wasting your time, while selfish me I was trying to save myself some.

Thought i used the search and tried to find those wmi scripts via linux....guess i wasnt looking hard enough.
Yes i am aware i will need to write up my own....just figured there might have been some templates/scripts already done before considered IIS is so widely used with virtual hosts......my mistake.
