SNMP Information : SNMP error

Post by zek »

I'm using the latest version of cacti in one server located in one DC, I'm monitoring other servers located in other DCs, the first configuration that the other guy did is properly working in some servers, now I must configure to work in antoher servers.
I installed SNMP, on the servers I want to monitor, added a rule on IPTABLES.
But when I run: snmpwalk -v 2c -c <omitted> localhost IP-MIB::ipAdEntIfIndex
It returns: IP-MIB::ipAdEntIfIndex = No more variables left in this MIB View (It is past the end of the MIB tree)
And because of that cacti is not able to generate graphics for this server, it returns SNMP ERROR. On verbose mode of SNMP - Interface Statiscs I get:

+ Running data query [1].
+ Found type = '3' [snmp query].
+ Found data query XML file at '/home/monitoring/public_html/cacti/resource/snmp_queries/interface.xml'
+ XML file parsed ok.
+ Executing SNMP walk for list of indexes @ '.1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.1'
+ No SNMP data returned
+ Found data query XML file at '/home/monitoring/public_html/cacti/resource/snmp_queries/interface.xml'
+ Found data query XML file at '/home/monitoring/public_html/cacti/resource/snmp_queries/interface.xml'
+ Found data query XML file at '/home/monitoring/public_html/cacti/resource/snmp_queries/interface.xml'

What am I missing here?

Is there any difference in 'snmpd.conf' between servers "working" and "not working"?

I did an SCP from a working server to a non working server, so it's exaclty the same.
