I have a number of routers being graphed in simple bits-in and bits-out terms.
I use COMMENT: Total In: |sum:auto:current:2:auto| in each graph to show the traffic totals for a given graph.
When i use the aggregate plugin, it adds the graphs together, but it does not aggregate each graph's autosums.
Instead it just prints the data from the first graph in the set.
Can Aggregate sum together the autosums from a set of graphs? If so, how?
Using Aggregate to sum totals?

Re: Using Aggregate to sum totals?
I still cant get my head around it. Say i have two traffic graphs. Each graphs the current bits in and bits out for a single interface. Two comments at the bottom of the graph summarise total bits in and bits out for the graphed timeframe. If i aggregate these i get the following:
http://imagestore.ugbox.net/aview/graph ... 59fb0301df
Instead of aggregating the two lots of bits/in and two lots of bits/out, it simply displays them as is.
And the summing of the comments isnt happening, its just printing the first value.

Please use latest Aggregate. And please read the manuals that explain the use cases

Re: Using Aggregate to sum totals?
Hi there,
I'm having the same issue. Using Cacti 0.8.8a with aggregate plugin version 0.75.
All graphs that are aggregated are based on the same graph template (traffic bits/sec, total bandwidth)
The resulting aggregate graph displays the correct area/stacked values in color but the comment that shows the bandwidth summation will display the "total in" or "total out" values for the 1st of the aggregated data sources. If I change the graph variable string for both total in and total out from: |sum:auto:current:2:auto| to |sum:auto:total:2:auto|, both comments will show the same number ( as expected since all datasources are summed together).
Is there a way to aggregate values on graph variables too?
thanks

Aggregate graph settings:
Graph Type: Convert to Area/Stack
Totalling: Print totalling legend items only
Total type: Total Similar data sources
Graph template items section: the "total" column has all items checked.

Re: Using Aggregate to sum totals?
Does anyone have a solution to this issue?
Is it possible to get the total of all incoming interface and total of all outgoing interface and not the total of both?
Thanks
Erez

desperate for a solution for this kind of issue, wondering if found yet?..
