Graphs not working

Post by jezct »

Hi, I used to have a great Cacti setup running on Linux but I've changed jobs and where I work now doesn't have any Linux skills so I've got it running on Windows 2008. I believe I've got several issues that I need help with please. My setup is;
General Information

SNMP: 3
SNMP Query: 5
Total: 13
Poller Information

Type cmd.php
Items Action[0]: 5
Total: 5

PHP Information
PHP Version 5.2.14
PHP OS WINNT
PHP uname Windows NT SYSMON01 6.0 build 6001
PHP SNMP Installed
max_execution_time 300
memory_limit 128M

My log file errors are;
cacti  log.JPG
cacti log.JPG (335.32 KiB) Viewed 1732 times
My graphs don't show, see attached.
cacti graphs.jpg
cacti graphs.jpg (145.22 KiB) Viewed 1732 times
I used the Windows Installer v1.95 (IIS) and tekbot's instructions for changing to 1 minute polling.

I also have an issue if I am using a browser to configure via the console tab I can't then click on the graphs tab, it just hangs, but the graphs tab will open in a fresh browser.

Any help on any of these issues would be great.

Thanks

Hi, not sure if this helps or is relevant but I noticed in the php_errors log this error every 5 mins;

[23-Jun-2011 09:56:00] PHP Notice: Trying to get property of non-object in C:\inetpub\wwwroot\cacti\lib\database.php on line 226
[23-Jun-2011 09:56:00] PHP Fatal error: Call to a member function close() on a non-object in C:\inetpub\wwwroot\cacti\lib\database.php on line 231

I've attached my database.php file.

Thanks

Are you using the adodb code from cacti or from your distro?

Hi, thanks for your reply. I'm sorry I don't understand what you mean, I downloaded the Windows Installer v1.95 from cacti.net and used that for a completely fresh clean install.

Thanks

Lets start with the basics. Have you read through http://docs.cacti.net/manual:087:4_help.2_debugging yet?
Did cacti graphing work before you switch to 1 min polling?
