[solved] No graphs for cisco CPU Usage
Hey Guys,
after getting helped so fast on my last question, I think I gonna publish another question, which is ruining my day...
To begin with, here is an overview of my system:
Operating System: Win 2k8 R2 Standard
Webserver: IIS 7
Cacti: 0.8.7g
Spine: Not implemented
MySQL: Server 5.5
PHP: 5.2.17 (third version I tried)
RRDTool (Cygwin or Win32 version): 1.2.3 w32
Net-SNMP: 5.6.1 (but also not implemented)
Cygwin (cygwin1.dll version): nope
Plugin Architecture: ???
My problem is, that there a no graphs produced for the CPU Usage of any Cisco Switch/Router.
Turning on the Data Source Debug Mode displays following lines: (See attachment)
Can you tell me what to do next to get some Information about the CPU usage?
Thank you in advance,
Flotz

Re: No graphs for CPU Usage
Did you follow the debugging guide linked in http://forums.cacti.net/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=11747 ?
Does the verbose output query for that device show any errors?
Does the verbose output query for that device show any errors?

Re: No graphs for CPU Usage
I could not find any errors in verbose query's output...
Everything is listed fine and Debug Mode shows: RRDTool says: OK
I tried to work through the Debugging manual.
Nothing found..
Do you have any other idea?
I don't understand the problem, because all other kinds of graphs are displayed perfectly...
Any help is appreciated : )

Flotz

Re: No graphs for CPU Usage
paste the verbose output from the snmp cpu usage associated data query for your problem device.

Re: No graphs for CPU Usage
Devices -> select the device -> associated data queries is half way down the page. click verbose query.Flotz wrote:I can't find any verbose output concerning cpu usage...

Re: No graphs for CPU Usage
Here are some extracts from my verbose output query.
What exactly do I have to find in there for cpu functionality?
It won't post the whole output, because it is simply too much...
Is this, what you expected?
Thanks again..

Re: No graphs for CPU Usage
Thats the query for snmp interfaces, not Get Processor Information.

Re: No graphs for CPU Usage
Finally...
I first had to add the Processor Query...
Here you are:
btw. Still not working...
edit: It has been running in this config for almost two hours. So no data is collected...

Re: No graphs for CPU Usage
287 interfaces? ahh, so its not a windows box. Each vendor implements a different subset of MIBs. you need to find out which ones yours does and/or search the script forum/repository. Most likely someone has already made one for you.

Re: No graphs for CPU Usage
cisco router and switches...
Re: No graphs for CPU Usage
Yup, there are various cisco cpu templates out there already. look in the script forum and/or http://docs.cacti.net/templates
