SNMP bad data

Post by Guest »

I can run snmpget -v1 accessf public .1.3.6.1.4.1.9.10.19.1.1.5.0 from a command line and it will come back with:

enterprises.9.10.19.1.1.5.0 = Gauge32: 70

However when I set cacti up to graph it, the x counter is 250M

If I set the data source up as a gauge it does not graph at all

Any ideas

Check the cacti log in 'log/rrd.log', and see what sort of thing cacti is feeding into the .rrd database. Sometimes cacti will have a parsing problem with the SNMP output and try to input bad data into the .rrd file.

If you are getting back a guage value, there is nothing else that should prevent it from working.
